We Have Confirmation. Batman Is Coming To ‘Gotham.’

The hit FOX series ‘Gotham‘ is fast approaching its final season. Since the show’s beginning, the showrunners and writers have played it similar to ‘Smallville’ where the show focused more on the origins of characters like Bruce Wayne, Riddler, Alfred, Jim Gordon, The Joker, and several others, but have completely shied away from actually introducing Batman himself.

However, Batman-News reported something that could be epic for fans of ‘Gotham.’ Actor Cameron Monaghan, who plays Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska (the proto-Joker), revealed something about the show.

When asked by a fan on social media if we would finally get to see Batman, he had this response.

I could not stop freaking out. This is fantastic news! Now, for sometime, actors and producers on the show have said that Batman would have a very short role, perhaps little more than a cameo. Monaghan could be doing nothing more than confirming that theory.

However, since the show seems to be combining elements of DC Comics story-arcs like Zero Year with No Man’s Land, including an appearance by Bane, perhaps we could see Batman in not just an appearance at the end. Maybe we will see him in a larger role, even if it is just in the series finale.
