
Ah, Labor Day. It is a holiday that gives most workers a three-day weekend and is much appreciated for the rest. If you are an anime fan, you might be wondering what to do with all of this extra time. No worries, in no particular order, here are five anime films to binge on Labor Day:
Castle in the Sky

Looking for a good ol’ fashion adventure? Studio Ghibli brings us this charming steampunk film about a young girl and a young guy who has to dodge secret agents, robots, and air pirates in order to get to a floating island in the clouds.
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie

The Netflix adaptation didn’t cut it? No surprise there. Also known as Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, this sci-fi film follows Spike and company as they try to stop a terrorist from releasing a deadly virus.

Want more of a date-night flick? This movie tells of two teens who seem to be swapping bodies, but as they grow closer, it seems their love might be doomed. If only they could remember one another’s names.
The Last: Naruto the Movie

After Hinata’s little sister is kidnapped from the Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru set off to help her. However, Hinata’s clan has a secret connection with the kidnapper which could unravel the ninja world. Meanwhile, Naruto realizes he has strong feelings for Hinata.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission

Have a superhero itch that Marvel or DC is not quite scratching? In this saga, Deku and other young heroes of UA are trying to stop a cult that wants to eradicate all humans who possess powers or “quirks” with a strange bomb.
