Lindsey Stirling and Royal And The Serpent: “Inner Gold” Music Review

Lindsey Stirling partners with Royal And The Serpent for her song “Inner Gold” which is featured on her album ‘Duality.’

Stirling is, of course, amazing. She has an eye and an ear for composition and this song is no different. She is brilliant with her violin and her vibe. She is also incredible in the music video. It tells of a dancer who is forced to dance in unison, but soon her inner gold pours out, allowing her to be free.

Royal And The Serpent was just as amazing. Her voice does an incredible job as she sings along to Stirling’s music. She has a captivating voice and it has incredible synergy with this song. I cannot compliment her singing enough as it truly added an extra bit of gold to this song.

Speaking about her new album ‘Duality,’ Stirling explained to Mixdown, “The title ‘Duality’ resonated with me deeply as it reflects the inner conflict I often experience. There are moments when I feel fearless and self-assured, contrasted sharply by times when self-doubt creeps in and I question my worth. Sometimes, I cling tightly to my actions, determined to shape my destiny, while at other times, I surrender to the flow of life. Every day, I believe we engage in internal battles of duality. We strive to discern which aspects to nurture, which to release and forgive, and which originate from our soul versus those imposed upon us. In my pursuit to bring this concept to life, I curated two distinct styles of music for each side of the album.”
