Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorite characters. He was created by the famous writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He has been portrayed by famous actors like Jeremy Brett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey, Jr., and several others. He has several amazing stories that have inspired several other mystery writers.

Because of his fame, several people act as if Sherlock Holmes is a real person. His colleague Dr. John Watson records his detective cases. He has written down several quotes that Mr. Holmes has said through the ages.
