Like mothers, Fathers are also an integral part of the family. They come in all shapes and sizes. Now, no father is perfect, that is God mentions fatherhood in the Bible. God often calls Himself the Heavenly Father or Father God, so the instruction for dads is very specific.

Saint Paul gives some very good advice for men who have children and why it is wrong to provoke them.

Here are 10 Translations Of Colossians 3:21-

“Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.” – KJV

“Fathers, do not make your children resentful. Otherwise, they’ll become discouraged.” – ISV

“Fathers, do not nag your children. If you are too hard to please, they may want to stop trying.” – NCV

“Fathers: don’t infuriate your children, so their hearts won’t harbor resentment and become discouraged.” – VOICE

“And fathers, don’t have unrealistic expectations for your children or else they may become discouraged.” – TPT

“Parents, don’t provoke your children in a way that ends up discouraging them.” – CEB

“Fathers, do not vex your children, to the end that they be not disheartened.” – DARBY

“Fathers, do not cause your children to be upset. If you do, they might think that they never do anything that is good.” – EASY

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children, so they won’t become discouraged.” – HCSB

“Fathers, do not be so hard on your children that they will give up trying to do what is right.” – NLV
