Patience. It is one of the Fruits of the Spirit that gets ignored. Humans want instant gratification since it is part of our fallen nature. However, God promises in the Book of Isaiah that those who wait on Him will have their strength renewed like the wings of the eagles. It is a powerful and beautiful Bible verse.

Here are ten translations of Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – BRG

“But those who trust the Lord will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired.” – CEV

“Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.” – GW
