Wisdom – 10 Translations of Proverbs 9:10

Where does wisdom come from? The Old Testament poetry book Proverbs has the answer. The collected knowledge of these authors reminds us that it comes from God. If you look at chapter nine, we learn it begins with the fear of the Lord. This is a hallmark position of Christians. Here are 10 Translations of Proverbs 9:10:

“The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” – ASV

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” – AKJV
