Jamie Grace: “Faithful” Music Review

Jamie Grace has a truly beautiful voice. No one can deny this. You can definitely hear it in her 2022 single “Faithful.” The Grammy-nominated singer definitely put her heart and soul into this one song. You can tell by the way she sings it.

I will be honest, I did not care for the first verse. While the music composition of the song is good, I felt the lyrics were not unique and were just kind of typical of a Christian song.

That being said, once the chorus kicks in, the song changes. It becomes an excellent song that testifies to God’s faithfulness. She delivers it on every level and shows off her talent as she tells of how God is there from every perspective. No matter how bad things get, she tells of how God is there for us and brings us together. It is a good connection from that point of view. Sure, it is simplistic, but it still delivers.

As for the music video, it is pretty good. It features Jamie Grace singing directly to the viewer with one of her family members being featured. It was lovely and not the overbearing cinematic plot we see in a lot of videos today. Instead, she makes it personal and thus, making the song very personal as well.
