My Top 10 Favorite Comic Book Covers Of 2022

When it comes to the year 2022, comic books were a bit of a wasteland when it came to good stories except in the indie arena. That being said, the cover art was pretty good. It is not just DC and Marvel Comics, several comic book publishers brought in some really cool illustrators for their heroes and villains. For all of you nerds and geeks, you can see some pretty great artwork. Here are My Top 10 Favorite Comic Book Covers Of 2022:

One Dark Knight #1

Jock brings Batman back to his roots and the cover perfectly captures the Dark Knight as he protects Gotham City.

Gunslinger Spawn #7

Todd McFarlane’s Spawn gets another spin-off. Daniel Henriques’ cover shows us the bleakness of the Old West and literally shows the smoking gun.

Isom #1

Eric July launches the Rippaverse with this heroic origin. The artist known as Ternion brings this character to life while showing a looming threat.

BRZRKR #10

Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt’s story of a man lost in time who is a savage in modern times. The cover by Ron Garney captures the Berserker’s expression of being in the wrong era.

Black Hops x Kamen America x SoulFinder

Iconic Comics brings their most popular characters together to take on a terrifying threat. Kionaoki brings us all of the heroes in one place.

Alice After Ever #1

J. Scott Campbell brings the duality of the mind to life in this cover releaded by Boom Studios.

Shi: Sakura

Crusader Comics continues the story of Shi, a vigilante who is called out of retirement when her family is targeted. This incredible illustration brings her to life and shows how larger than life she is.

Ben Reilly: Spider-Man #1

Though the comic book itself was terrible, the cover by Dan Jurgens shows the hero Marvel could have made Scarlet Spider.

Downcast #3

Damian Penalba displays a city divided in this epic tale from Alterna Comics.

Batman/Spawn #1

The Dark Knight and the Hellspawn are forced to work together to save souls. Jim Lee delivers on this epic variant cover displaying the darkness of the two protagonists.
