Growing up as a pastor kid in the 90s, you heard Philippians 4:13 a lot in sermons and devotionals. It speaks to the strength that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gives you to accomplish your calling. Written by the Apostle Paul, it is a Bible verse you can hold onto and remember.

The Bible Panorama describes the scripture, “Paul rejoices in the material support of Christians. Nevertheless, in all circumstances, adverse and favourable, Paul finds that he ‘can do all things through Christ who strengthens [him]’. This brings contentment to him even when he is in physical need.”

Here are ten versions of Philippians 4:13:

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” NLT

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” ESV

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” NASB

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” KJV

“And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.” TPT

“I can do all things because of Christ who strengthens me.” MEV

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” NIV

“I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.” TLV

“I can be content in any and every situation through the Anointed One who is my power and strength.” VOICE

“I have strength for all things in him that gives me power.” DARBY
