
Labor Day is a holiday that gives most workers a three-day weekend where you can grill, chill, or mill about. If you are a nerd, action junkie, or just an adventure film fan, you might be wondering what to do with all of this extra time. I got you covered! In no particular order, here are ten superhero films to binge on Labor Day weekend:
Iron Man

Before there Disney or even the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was Robert Downey, Jr. portraying Tony Stark who launched a superhero craze with his phrase, “I am Iron Man.”
Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot wowed us as Diana Prince, the Amazonian warrior who arrives at the tale end of the first World War to help out Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine.
Darkman

Believe it or not, Sam Raimi dipped his directing skills with this twisted superhero tale before the Marvel Universe. It stars Liam Neeson as a scientist who gets revenge on some criminals that permanently disfigured him.
X-Men

The first in the mutant franchise featured Patrick Stewart as Professor X with Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine trying to stop Magneto from destroying New York City.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Needing something not so serious? Check out the four ninja brothers and their rat mentor as they battle the vicious criminal Shredder, played by James Saito.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

After Peter Parker dies battling the Kingpin, a superpowered Miles Morales meets Peter B. Parker from another dimension. The two ally against Kingpin and Doc Ock while other versions of Spider-Man start to appear.
Superman

Richard Donner brought the Man of Steel to life in this epic film. Christopher Reeve embodies the truth, justice, and the American way that we all miss from the Justice League hero.
Bloodshot

Do you just want to turn off your brain and enjoy some fast-paced action? Watch as Vin Diesel becomes a cybernetic hero that delivers brutal revenge on those who killed his family.
Blade

Have a horror itch? Wesley Snipes portrays the daywalker vampire who is wiping out his own kind, knowing the vampires killed his mother.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

A mysterious vigilante is killing some of Gotham’s worst gangsters and Batman, voiced by Kevin Conroy, takes the blame. While dodging the police, the Dark Knight has to stop this Phantasm, but the Joker, voiced by Mark Hamill, waits in the wings.
