10 Movies To Watch On Independence Day 2022

Independence Day. The Fourth of July. July 4th. Whatever you want to call it, it is a day to celebrate American Pride and American Exceptionalism. Hopefully, you have the day off to spend time with your family, cook, watch fireworks, and maybe catch a movie. Here is an updated list of 10 Movies To Watch On Independence Day:

The Highwaymen– Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson portray the two former Texas Rangers that took down the infamous bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

Hillbilly Elegy– The story of a man trying to escape his past, only for it to smash into him, JD Vance shares his inspirational story of growing up in rural United States.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi– Michael Bay brings to life the story of terrorists assaulting the United States embassy in Benghazi, Libya in 2012. It is a sobering look at how politics can get in the way of doing the right thing.

Top Gun: Maverick– Tom Cruise stars in this sequel that displays the heroism and courage of the pilots who serve in the United States navy.

The Alamo– John Wayne directs and stars as Davy Crockett, a hero of the 13-day battle in San Antonio, Texas which became a rallying cry for the Texas War for Independence.

The Best of Enemies– The true story of Ann Atwater and how she won over the admiration of a South Carolina KKK leader C.P. Ellis is an inspirational tale of Americans coming together.

Apollo 13– Ron Howard’s retelling of the Apollo 13 shuttle incident features an all-star cast including Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, Bill Paxton, Kathleen Quinlan, Ed Harris, and so many others. It is an amazing tale of how American ingenuity can accomplish extraordinary things.

Delta Force– Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin headline this tale of a plane hijacked by terrorists. The two actors play members of the Delta Force sent in to rescue the hostages and stop the terrorists.

Space Cowboys– Clint Eastwood directs and stars in this film about aging NASA astronauts who have to pull off one last mission.

The Outpost– The movie tells the story of Combat Outpost Keating which faced one of the deadliest battles of the Afghan War.
