Captain Kathryn Janeway, born May 20th in the 24th Century and played by Kate Mulgrew, was a highly decorated scientist who rose to command the Starfleet vessel USS Voyager. Flung into the Delta Quadrant, decades away from Earth, she encountered strange aliens, the Borg, and odd phenomenon that challenged her crew. Always with a cup of coffee, she never failed to dispense some wisdom to her crew.
