How Realism Is Ruining Comic Books And Superhero Films | StudioJake

While it is true that early comics, such as pulps, were gritty and dark, they still had this expectation that as fiction, you would suspend your belief. With social media, there are a bunch of fake fans that demand a strong sense of realism in the comics The problem is, these are not only ruining a drama based on mystery, fantasy, and science fiction, they are ruining the characters themselves.
