D. James Kennedy (November 3, 1930 – September 5, 2007) was an American evangelist, pastor, radio host, author, and leader of Coral Ridge Ministries. Throughout his life, he would buck political correctness, criticizing communism and preaching the Gospel. He was even inducted into the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2005.
