When it comes to 2021, cinemas were just starting to open up after a year. You still had to surf for movies and it did not always pan out. Now, I did catch a few in the theaters and it was good to be back. The same goes for the ones I watched on DVD or via streaming. While last year felt like a pain, this one still delivered on the bad flicks. Here are My Top 10 Worst Movie Of 2021:

10. Hostage House

Hostage House felt like filmmakers just hit the “default” switch on all of the creativity. Every situation felt bland and unoriginal without any sense of urgency. Give it a pass.

09. Annette

I can see why mainstream critics liked Annette. It’s their kind of movie. Pretentious dialogue and music lyrics. Obvious commentary pretending to be subtle symbolism. Claps not laughs. Toxic white male. Yup, all the hallmarks are there. It is boring, obtuse, and just not a good film.

08. Chaos Walking

Chaos Walking is a boring trip into lazy screenwriting that makes you wonder who made the decision to release it. It is doubtful they still have a job.

07. Reminiscence

Reminiscence is the typical Hollywood film these days. It is unimaginative, ham-fisted, and is totally depleted of originality. Just skip it.

06. Good On Paper

Good On Paper is a dimwitted disaster of a film that lacks any comedic charm or charisma. If it comes up in your Netflix feed, click off and watch paint dry. You will have a better time.

05. Trigger Point

Trigger Point is a bland, generic copycat action film that offers no thrills or feels for its entire runtime. Fortunately, that was not too long.

04. Cosmic Sin

Cosmic Sin is a waste of time. Do not bother to even watch it on streaming.

03. Locked Down

Locked Down is a boring, obtuse film that wants to lecture you, condescend to you, and treat you like an idiot. Entertain you? Not so much.

02. Cinderella

Cinderella is a boring attempt at trying to “woke” up a classic fairy tale, but it replaces anything endearing about the story with talking points. Talking points do not make good films, they need a story.

01. Fauci

Fauci was made before the revelations that noted bureaucrat Anthony Fauci was torturing dogs for “research.” Knowing that now, it comes off as a disingenuous propaganda film aimed at trying to whitewash the reputation of a man who has ruined so many lives by his “mandates.”
