Favorite Christmas Hymns For 2021

I have decided to do something a little different as Christmas Day gets closer. It is the Christmas season and since Jesus is the reason for the season, I decided to share a list of my personal favorite Christmas hymns. These are the songs and hymns are ones that my family and church have played over the years. The list varies sometimes, but many of these all somehow find their way back onto my playlist. From joyful celebrations to somber reflections, it is a time to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Here are my Favorite Christmas Hymns:

Angels We Have Heard On High

Gloria, gloria!

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

Oh tidings of comfort and joy!

O Holy Night

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn’

Hark The Herald Angels Sing

Hail, the heaven-born Prince of peace

Little Drummer Boy

Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum, On my drum?

O Come All Ye Faithful

O come and behold Him, born the King of Angels

Joy To The World

He rules the world with truth and grace

Away In A Manger

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask You to stay

The First Noel

Now by the light of this bright star, Three wise men came from country far

What Child Is This

This, this is Christ the King, Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing
