Zuby: “Real” Music Review

Zuby dropped his new album ‘World of Zuby’ to the acclaim of fans everywhere. This time around, I am taking a peek at the song “Real” which is produced by AxLBeatz along with the music video directed and edited by Liam Gibson (LG Vision). The music album was released by the COM Entertainment label.

The song was very entertaining and stayed on point with its memorable lyrics. Zuby has his signature R&B and Hip Hop style that brings everything together. It talks about being true to yourself and not caving for fame or fortune. It hits on social commentary, but not in a heavy-handed way where you get lost in the song, a common mistake that Zuby masterfully avoids. Instead, you find yourself enjoying its beat and jam.

I also enjoyed the music video. It starts off showing Zuby signing autographs in a warehouse surrounded by his swag before transitioning to a media junket where the reporters seemed more interested in scandal. Zuby’s lyrics about staying true to yourself and refusing to kneel is echoed in the video, making its ideas complete.

Zuby took to social media to discuss this new album, saying, “‘Word of Zuby’ is my most personal and provocative album to date – inspired by everything going on in the world and our modern society. Culture, politics, religion, and more. Listen and enjoy with an open mind.”
