My Top 10 Favorite Mark Snow TV Themes

Music composer Mark Snow is iconic when it comes to television. He has scored several well-known televisions from ‘Smallville‘ to ‘Blue Bloods,’ but he has also composed some of the most iconic theme songs for our favorite TV shows. From science fiction to police procedurals to dramas, Mark Snow has worked on a ton. Here are My Top 10 Favorite Mark Snow TV Themes:

10. Crazy Like A Fox

The series is a comedy-mystery series that follows a detective father who somehow drags his son into his cases.

09. Kojak remake

The short-lived remake of the detective who always says, “who loves you, baby?”

08. The Lone Gunmen

A spin-off of X-Files, the show followed a group of conspiracy theorists who are researching government malfeasants and working hard to expose them with a publication.

07. The Ghost Whisperer

Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is an investigator who can communicate with ghosts.

06. Millenium

The show was about Frank Black, “a freelance forensic profiler and former FBI agent with a unique ability to see the world through the eyes of serial killers and murderers,” who discovers there is a conspiracy with the group he works for.

05. Le Femme Nikita

Nikita is a woman working for Section One, a counter-terror organization that blackmails her if she refuses to comply with their demands.

04. Starsky and Hutch

Snow composed the season 3 theme song for the buddy cop action series.

03. Hart to Hart

Jonathan and Jennifer Hart are wealth socialites who accidentally find themselves solving mysteries they accidentally get thrust into.

02. T.J. Hooker

William Shatner plays Sergeant T.J. Hooker who returns to uniformed duty to help protect the streets after his partner is murdered by thugs.

01. The X-Files

FBI Agents Mulder and Scully are after explained phenomenon from aliens to cults to witchcraft to secret operations, this theme song is iconic and my favorite of Mark Snow’s theme songs.
