This Is Not A Test was the 2020 album from singer, poet, and songwriter Toby McKeehan also known as Tobymac, one of the former members of DC Talk. The album includes Light Shine Bright which he sings with Gotee Records singer Hollyn. Today, I’m taking a look at the Denver live performance of his song Move (Keep Walkin’), a rock, techno, and R&B number loaded with encouragement.
The song itself is a masterpiece. It is what Tobymac does best. The lyrics are all about just moving forward in life without being afraid of what is going on in your life. It is inspiring and full of encouragement. His faith in Jesus Christ just shines through it. No matter what kind of discouragement might come your way, God is standing right beside you and cheering you on.
As for the live performance, it is quite impressive. Tobymac can really bring out the best on stage and this song is no exception. He brings all of the heart and strength to this set, making you want to jam right along with it. He is one of the few artists who sounds good live on stage.
