Star Wars lore is not limited to a series of movies or a TV show. In fact, before Disney’s acquisition of LucasFilm, the Expanded Universe had a plethora of comic books, novels, and video games filled with adventures, heroes, villains, and exotic locations. This includes some pretty cool characters who have influenced stories and characters. Here is the second volume of Star Wars Expanded Universe Characters That Should Become Canon:

General Rom Mohc

Appearing in several video games including ‘Star Wars: Dark Forces’, General Mohc spearheaded the development of the dark trooper and created some Imperial armor to battle his opponents with Darth Vader’s blessing.

Ulic Qel-Droma

First appearing in the comic book “Tales of the Jedi,” Ulic would be a prominent Old Republic Jedi before succumbing to the Dark Side of the Force and becoming a Sith. However, he would redeem himself and later help Anakin Skywalker defeat a Sith weapon during the Clone Wars via a holocron.

Qu Rahn

The Jedi master would survive Order 66 and seek out Yoda who was living in exile. After some training, he embarked on a quest to find the Valley of the Jedi but would be killed by an Inquisitor. As a Force Ghost, he guided other Jedi to the Valley to free the lost souls there.

Darth Bane

No one would influence the Sith after the Old Republic more than Darth Bane. Following their loss against the Jedi, the Sith Lord instituted the Rule of Two, focusing on developing a conspiracy to defeat the Republic and reclaim superiority.

Rahm Kota

During the Rebellion, he was one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66 and would train Starkiller in the Ways of the Jedi after the youngling was betrayed by Darth Vader.

Darth Talon

She is the villain in the comic book series “Legacy of the Force” where she would become an enemy of Cade Skywalker. At some point, she was considered to be a movie villain and ally to Darth Maul.

Ru Murleen

She was a Rebel soldier who appeared in the video game “Rebel Assault 2.” She helped Rookie One secure a TIE Fighter with a cloaking device and destroyed the factory before it could go into mass production.

Zuckuss

After cameoing in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Zuckuss would go on to have a prolific career as a bounty hunter and would have a role in the Bounty Hunter Wars.

Maris Brood

She was the apprentice to an unknown Jedi who died during Order 66 only to be taken in by Shaak Ti on the planet Felucia. After her second master was killed, she succumbed to the Dark Side, but returned after being shown mercy by Starkiller in “The Force Unleashed.”

Xanatos

Originally a Padawan of Qui-Gon Jinn, Xanatos succumbed to the Dark Side. He would become an opponent for his Master and his new apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi.
