10 Movies To Watch On Memorial Day 2021

Memorial Day is a good day to stand up and salute because we live in the United States of America. We have several branches of the military that produce incredibly brave men and women who stand up and fight for our freedoms. This long weekend, be sure to remember them and say a prayer for them when you sit down for your meals. If you get the chance, thank them for their service.

For this long weekend, here is a list of ten movies to stir up your red American blood and remember the fighting men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us. Here is an updated list of 10 Movies To Watch On Memorial Day:

American Sniper – Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, a sharpshooting Navy SEAL who served in the Iraq War and would later struggle with PTSD when he returned home.

The Green Berets – This movie stars John Wayne and tells a fictional story using the very real backdrop of the Vietnam War.

Missing In Action 2: The Beginning – Starring Chuck Norris and directed by Lance Hool, it tells the story of American troops trapped in a POW camp during the Vietnam War.

The Outpost – Orlando Bloom and Scott Eastwood stars in this movie about the battle at Combat Outpost Keating during the Afghan War.

Lone Survivor – Starring Mark Wahlberg, this film tells one of the most brutal operations taking place during the Afghan War based on the book by Marcus Luttrell.

Heartbreak Ridge – Produced, directed, and starring Clint Eastwood who plays a pessimistic sergeant assigned to whip a troubled Marine Corp unit into shape ahead of Grenada.

Hostiles – Christian Bale stars in this film about a US Calvary officer tasked with returning a Native American and his family to his homeland, but they encounter harsh enemies along the way.

We Were Soldiers – Mel Gibson stars in this film based in the Vietnam War.

13 Hours – Michael Bay directs this film about a group of terrorists that invaded a US embassy in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th, 2012, and the CIA contractors sent to save them.

Patton – George C. Scott stars as General George S. Patton, one of the most influential generals in the Second World War.
