Lindsey Stirling and Mako: “Lose You Now” (Acoustic Version) Music Review

Lindsey Stirling drops a new single “Lose You Now” featuring the singer Mako. With Lindsey Stirling’s brilliant musical talent and Mako’s good singing voice, they make a pretty good team. With this new acoustic version, you can definitely feel it even more.

As I said about the original version, the song has some enduring lyrics about remembering a lost loved one. Despite them being gone, they still exist inside our hearts and minds. I feel that it reflects on memories and how we respond to them. The arrangement and lyrics work well together. Stirling is, of course, excellent with her music and she plays her violin with excellence. Mako did a great job singing and they blended their talent well. They acoustic nature of this version, in my opinion, truly bring out the talent of both Stirling and Mako.

Similar to the original version of the music video, Stirling directed it with Stephen Wayne Mallett and it comes off very well. It displays Stirling’s musical talent as she plays alongside Mako who is singing and playing the piano.

“I am so glad I get to continue to share this song with you,” Stirling wrote on Facebook. “Seeing your amazing memories and hearing what this song means to you is so special.”
