5 Bible Verses For Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is one of the most important days of the year. I am blessed to have such a wonderful Mom in my life. They are truly a gift from God. As such, I thought I would share these five Bible verses for Mother’s Day.

28 Her sons rise up and call her blessed.
Her husband also praises her:
29 “Many women are capable,
but you surpass them all!”
30 Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting,
but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised. – Proverbs 31:28-30

Honor your father and your mother so that you may have a long life in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. – Exodus 20:12

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching… – Proverbs 1:8

Children, obey your parents as you would the Lord, because this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, 3 so that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land. Ephesians 6:1-3

Let your father and mother have joy, and let her who gave birth to you rejoice. -Proverbs 23:25

Mothers are a great gift. Take some time to call your mom, grandmother, aunt, or whoever the woman in your life is who took time to stand in that place. They are wonderful and amazing.
