My Top 10 Favorite Songs From The Star Wars Soundtracks

Star Wars fans everywhere know the heroes and villains of the films. Luke Skywalker. Darth Vader. Han Solo. Emperor Palpatine. Princess Leia. Darth Maul. Yoda. Count Dooku. Lando Calrissian. There are certainly too many to name here which shows the creative nature of the movies. That also goes for the music. Scores, songs, and simple background music has become iconic, not just with the fandom, but with pop culture-at-large. This is true for me as well. Here are my Top 10 Favorite Songs From The Star Wars Soundtracks:

10. The Will of the Force (Stephen Barton, Gordy Haab)

Featured in the video game Jedi Fallen Order, this evokes the nature of the Force and how it binds us together.

09. The Master Switch (Michael Giacchino)

From Rogue One, this song shows our protagonists hunt for the master switch to relay the weakness of the Death Star.

08. A Friend (Ludwig Göransson)

As Mando, Grogru, Cara Dune, and other allies await certain death at the hands of Imperial droids, the true hero of the Star Wars saga Luke Skywalker arrives in The Mandalorian.

07. Love Pledge and the Arena (John Williams)

Just before a battle in Attack of the Clones, Anakin and Padme confess their love for one another.

06. Return of the Jedi (John Williams)

After a fateful battle between father and son, Luke ushers in the Return of the Jedi, going by the Expanded Universe, of course.

05. Anakin vs. Obi-Wan (John Williams)

Master and apprentice face-off in an epic battle that ushers in the exile of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire in the film Revenge of the Sith.

04. The Duel (John Williams)

Luke Skywalker learns the truth that his father is Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back following a duel.

03. Imperial Attack (John Williams)

A New Hope brings us one of the greatest movie villain entrances as Darth Vader leads an attack on a Rebel cruiser.

02. Duel of the Fates (John Williams)

For a thousand years the Jedi maintained order in the galaxy, The Phantom Menace shows how fate has a way of catching up.

01. Star Wars Theme (John Williams)

The theme is explosive as the Star Wars theme plays at the beginning of each film. It set off audiences on an adventure that you cannot forget.
