Born in North Carolina, R.A. Torrey was an American evangelist, pastor, educator, and writer. He helped establish Biola University and promoted that Christians should live a “higher life” by continually acting in a holy manner. Above all, he told his fellow Christians to pray. Here are are my top 10 quotes from R.A. Torrey:
