The Piano Guys: “Better Days” Music Review

The Piano Guys bring us an uplifting song in “Better Days,” from their album 10. The song is written by Al van der Beek and Steven Sharp Nelson, providing some encouraging words. They are giving us some good vibes and I think it is something we could all use.

“This song came to me as an answer to a prayer,” van der Beek writes about the song. “A few months ago my family and I were going through some very emotional trials and even though I knew they would eventually pass it was difficult for me to see beyond our current circumstances. One morning as I was sitting in the studio feeling the weight of everything that was going on I felt prompted to get on my knees and pray.”

The song is a good reminder that every now and then, the skies do clear up and the sun comes out. It has been a rough year for many and many are still having it tough. I felt their genuineness at providing listeners with some exhortation to help make their days a bit brighter. As they say, music does soothe the soul. The Piano Guys definitely give us some much-needed encouragement to look ahead and see the signs.
