Tobymac: “Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight)” Music Review

Written by Tobymac and Micah Kuiper, the single “Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight)” hit the radio waves and was released digitally. It features the Seven-Time GRAMMY winner’s unique style and a cameo from his son Judah McKeehan in the music video.

With a deeply broken heart after losing my firstborn son and stepping almost immediately into quarantine, everything was dark,” Tobymac said according to the Christan Beat. “I woke up one day after months in the valley to the Psalms. I read that ‘God is rolling up His sleeves.’ We are not forgotten. What a beautiful image. What a beautiful promise.”

I think this one of Tobymac’s finest songs. It has a good beat, sound, and it flows really well. The overall message of the lyrics is one of hope that no matter where you are in the day, God is there and ready to come to your aid. It is uplifting and encouraging, something you can find encouragement in.
