My Reading List For 2021 Part 1

Wondering what to read this year? Here is the first part of my reading list where I share what is sitting on my nightstand. From fiction to nonfiction, to fantasy to history, and beyond!

Check it out below:

  • The Wind Is Howling by Ayako Mura – This is an autobiography from one of the most prominent Christian writers of Japan.
  • The Man Wrapped In Darkness by Matthew Newsom – A paranormal fantasy that is sure to keep you awake reading.
  • Rage by Jonathan Kellerman – Dr. Alex Delaware is back solving mysteries with friend Detective Sturges in the great Los Angeles area.
  • The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact With The Hitler by Ben Urwand – This historical book takes a peek behind the dark curtain where those in the film industry had a secret connection to the world’s most deadly dictator.
  • Batman: Death Mask by Yoshinori Natsume – This manga takes Batman from the city of Gotham to the country of Japan for an adventure he won’t forget.

Honorable Mention: Omelas Revisit – My friend CS Johnson’s latest novel will soon be ready for pre-order.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below. Tell me if there is a comic book, movie, or novel you would like me to review. While you are at it, check out my appearance on The Steven Cortes Show talking about the best Chicago films. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more posts like this one.
