Music Review- Disney’s Cars: Life Is A Highway (Jonathan Young Cover)

Jonathan Young continues his tradition of doing covers of popular Disney songs, this time from the Cars soundtrack. He brings us a sort of techno-rock version of “Life Is A Highway” originally performed by Rascal Flatts.

I always enjoy listening to covers of my favorite soundtrack songs. Jonathan Young always does a good job of putting his own style on the ones he covers and it is no different with “Life Is A Highway.” While I still like the original Rascal Flatts version better, I do think this one was entertaining. I will say, I thought the techno aspect of it was a little odd, but it was still fun.

The music video was pretty simple. It was just Jonathan Young singing with an overlay of pianos doing some sort of “Rock Band” style visual. It was definitely the sort of thing you would see in one of his awesome videos. You will want to catch it and give it a listen.
