Music Review- Lindsey Stirling: Til The Light Goes Out

“Til The Light Goes Out” is featured on the Lindsey Stirling album Artemis, which has a host of several cool songs. For the music video, Stirling co-directs and co-edits it with Stephen Wayne Mallett.

One of the things I do enjoy about this song is that it has a very moving and it is incredibly well composed. Stirling does a good job, as usual, and she you can tell she puts her heart into her music. One of the most standout points is her violin, as usual. She is a true master with this instrument and this is something no can deny. Likewise, the complimentary sounds that go along match perfectly.

As for the music video, it has some incredibly fantasy elements to it. This is a recurring theme throughout “Artemis” and it works well. I feel like a lot of the images were inspired by Terry Brooks’ The Sword of Shanara based on the images and how the characters were dressed. Once again, the dance choreography is spot on and her skills just keep getting better and better.
