Film director Matt Reeves released two new images for his upcoming movie ‘The Batman,’ starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. He made the announcement ahead of the DC Fandome event.
“Excited to share the very first look at our official (The Batman) logo, and some very cool additional DC FanDome artwork by the amazing
(Jim Lee),” he wrote on social media. “…see more of (The Batman) at the DC FanDome global event in the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 8/22!” He added the hashtag, “For the fans.”
As a huge Batman fan, I go back and forth with ‘The Batman.’ I get excited because I genuinely think Matt Reeves is a fantastic director. However, the casting gives me pause as I feel it did not use the incredible talent correctly that Warner Bros recruited. As for Pattinson taking over as Batman, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I have seen films he has been outside of the ‘Twilight Saga’ and he is a good actor. He does not look the part, but perhaps he will surprise us with his performance.
