During the 1960s and 1970s, Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc. ruled the roost when it came to Saturday morning cartoons. From Scooby-Doo to Yogi Bear to Pebbles Flinstone and beyond, they entertained three generations of kids, teens, and adults. They would have gone beyond the 80s if hadn’t been for those meddling kids. Anyway, here are my Top 10 Old School Best Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Intros:

Voiced by the legendary Scatman Crothers, mild-mannered Police HQ janitor Henry was secretly Hong Kong Phooey. He was a superhero who more accidentally solved crime, but he always did it with style.

Disguise as a teen pop-rock band, Josie, Valerie, and Melody would solve crimes behind-the-scenes with the help of Josie’s boyfriend Alan.

06. Space Ghost
Traveling outer space, Space Ghost, his teen sidekicks Jan and Jace and their monkey Blip would often battle sinister villains who meant to do the galaxy harm. At some point, he would retire to become a talk show host.
05. The Quick Draw McGraw Show
Quick Draw McGraw and his sidekick Baba Looey would protect the Old West as a sheriff of various towns. Later, he would don a disguise as El Kabong, the “Champion of the Good Guys.”
04. The Yogi Bear Show
“Hey, Boo-Boo!” The peanut butter and jelly sandwich thief and his sidekick Boo-Boo from Jellystone Park would irk Ranger Smith with their antics and attempts to steal picnic baskets from the human visitors.

This modern stone-age family with Fred, Wilma, Pebbles, and their pet dinosaur dino would provide lots of fun with their charming neighbors Barney, Betty, and Bamm-Bamm.
