Viz Media is releasing the English edition of “Tokyo: Day By Day,” a tour guidebook that “reveals all the hidden treasures the dazzling megacity has to offer for 365 days of the year!” It promises to show not only restaurants and shopping but also some interesting cultural places where you can find inspiring.

According to the press release,

Ever wanted to explore the megacity Tokyo and didn’t know where to start? For 365 days of the year, “Tokyo: Day By Day”” takes you on an adventure through this dazzling and magical city most tourists never see.

Walk down hidden cobblestoned alleyways lit by traditional Minka homes and into the dreamiest of flower parks filled with lavender; taste the myriad sweets and pastries and learn the art of Maito Kuramae – all fueled by ramen, the city’s signature dish, and tea, always tea.

With its endless imagination, enchanting atmosphere, grand passion, and true beauty, “Tokyo: Day By Day” is the ultimate travel companion for both frequent and first-time visitors. Plus, you’ll never get lost thanks to the expertly mapped out location, contact, and train stop information.

“Tokyo: Day by Day” was first published in Japan “Write-Sha” in conjunction with the travel app RETRIP with Viz Media releasing the English version on June 9th.

I am looking forward to this tour guidebook. Going to Tokyo, Japan has long been on my both my wife and I’s bucket list. “Tokyo: Day by Day” will no doubt give some great ideas when we finally make it there.
