As production for ‘The Batman’ is underway with Matt Reeves directing and Robert Pattinson playing Bruce Wayne, Warner Bros. released some “first look” photos with Pattinson under the mask.

Obviously, I had to get a dig at Ben Affleck pretending to be Batman.
Back to the topic at hand, Robert Pattinson definitely fits into it well and I think he will wear it very well unlike George Clooney or Ben Affleck. Pattinson is a very talented actor, so I am confident he can pull it off with the right script and director.
I think the costume looks really cool. I like that they combined the DC Comics “Year One” with the “Arkham Knight” video game look. My one complaint is the shrunk Batman emblem. While I am glad they went away from the extreme that Zack Snyder had designed, I feel like Matt Reeves went the other extreme, making it too small. Hopefully, he will get a more prominent one later in the film.
