Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot joined the growing chorus of clamors for the rumored “Snyder Cut” of Justice League. To show her support for the DCEU movement, she tweeted out an image that appears to be from the movie on the two-year anniversary of the film’s release.
Check out the tweet below:
For those unfamiliar with the backstory, director Zack Snyder was nearing completion of Justice League when he suffered a very personal tragedy which I will not discuss here out of respect for his family. It is a shame that Warner Bros. did not do the same. They took advantage of Snyder’s situation and hired Avengers director Joss Whedon to recut and reshoot the bulk of the film.
Since that time, fans of the DCEU have been demanding that WB release the “Snyder Cut” and even have a hashtag “#ReleaseTheSnyderCut” to stir up interest. Several of the film’s stars, including Gadot and Aquaman star Jason Mamoa, have joined the fans in asking for the release of the movie.
Those who have been following know my feelings of Zack Snyder as a filmmaker. I have been incredibly harsh on him and I think it is well-deserved, which I stated during a debate over Snyder’s films with Western Free Press movie critic Eric Blake. That being said, it was very underhanded how Warner Bros. took advantage of him to have Whedon recut the film.
As for the Snyder Cut, I actually agree with Gal Gadot. It should be released so I can go on criticizing Snyder’s films and enjoy angering the Film Brats on social media.

[…] Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, and Joe Morton (who plays Silas Stone), are all excellent in their roles. Gadot, of course, stole the show again, though it was not just in a cameo form. Now, I did enjoy Irons as Alfred and Mamoa as Aquaman, but their significance to the story were a bit diminished compared to the theatrical version. […]
