For those living under a rock since August, Sony made the worst decision EVER to pull Peter Parker out. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe got some good news when it was announced that Disney and Sony Pictures had reached a deal that would allow Spider-Man to have one more solo and one more guest appearance in an MCU feature. This is good news and Disney CEO Bob Iger thanked Sony for bringing Kevin Feige back into the fold. I discuss this new development and what it means for the MCU.

Hopefully, Sony will see the benefit of this deal. The visceral reaction from the fans, Tom Holland, and even Avengers: Endgame directors all expressed their disappointment when Sony originally broke the deal with Disney. No doubt, that played a role in their decision to come back around and with the success of Spider-Man: Far From Home plus future films, maybe Stan Lee’s iconic character will remain home.
