It was just a quiet Thursday in Los Angeles. I was going about my day job and having a quiet discussion about the cinema with a few of my co-workers. I happen to like Christopher Nolan’s films and this was brought up in our conversation. Thus, I was inspired to send out this tweet:

I was retweeted by a few blue-checkmark professionals and the tweet went viral. From there, I got a slew of replies by fake film buffs who think having a letterbox account or watching a foreign film once in your life makes you an expert. The hilarious thing was the people sending me dead or has-been directors when I clearly said “today.” Social media has created a bubble where if someone disagrees with you, you can have a meltdown.
