The newsboys have released their new album United, which includes the single “Greatness of our God” On this album, we see the return of former members Peter Furler (drummer, former lead singer) and Phil Joel (former bassist). Today, I am reviewing another song featured, “Symphony.”
This is a solid entry. While it is not as good as some of their rock music, I did think the song was an excellent addition to the band’s numerous catalog. The newsboys always have a way of reminding you about faith. In this case, they remind the listener to worship God and be thankful for all of the incredible things He does for us. It is a catchy and well-composed reminder.
One another note, it is good to hear Peter Furler and Phil Joel return to the band. It was definitely not the same without them and it added a nostalgic effect to “Symphony.”
