The DC Comics event Doomsday Clock continues with issue 8. The focus shifts from Batman to Superman as the Watchmen continue to cause chaos in the DC Universe. This issue, written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Brad Anderson and Gary Frank, brings in Firestorm whose heroics cause an accident in Russia. Needless to say, they are not too happy. Superman then searches the globe for the young hero and tries to arrange a plan to save the young hero. Unfortunately, it does not go as planned.
This is an interesting route to go in this series. I hope that it gets moving. At first, the plot seemed to be Ozymandias’ new Watchmen were in search of Dr. Manhattan, but now the plot seems to be getting a bit muddled. I delve more into it in this vlog.
