Ted Cruz Tweeted Out My Article. I’m A Happy Guy.

As most of you know, I write for the Daily Wire. It is an honor and a privilege. One of the things I cover is Christian persecution and how communist, extremist, and otherwise brutal regimes. For Monday’s article, I wrote about how the Chinese government is cracking down on churches, leading to a massive arrest of over 100 Christians and their pastor.

I met Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), a former GOP presidential candidate my former senator, back in March (seen above). He was friendly and hospitable. He is someone I admire a great deal, so I was excited when I saw that he had retweeted my article on Twitter.

He wrote, “The Communist Party’s depraved persecution of Christians never pauses, and is especially cruel this year during Christmas. Americans are praying for Pastor Wang Yi and his congregants, and the United States should press Xi Jinping for their release.”

Needless to say, I was very excited. Senator Cruz has always been a champion of religious freedom and I was honored that he shared my article out.
