StudioJake Interviews Mike Baron

This past weekend on my web series StudioJake, I got to interview legendary comic book writer Mike Baron. It was an audio recording, but it was so awesome! He is the author of several horror novels including Banshee, Helmet Head, Whack Job, Skorpio, and Biker! His comic credentials include creating the epic characters Nexus (one of my favorites) and Badger!

He was a pretty cool guy. We talked about creativity, his upcoming projects, his new Badger series, and a more. It an insightful and epic interview. I definitely was trying to not to geek out over it. Be sure to like and share this post, then head over to Mike Baron’s website.

With Horatio, he’s unique in the sense that he does not enjoy being a hero, but does it for the power to keep his planet Ylum and his family safe. This makes his character incredibly thrilling and it shows in this story. This time, he is fighting people with the same power that he once had and must stop them. Baron crafts this Nexus story with care and talent, making it enjoyable. The plot presents itself in a compelling well and is true testament to the incredible storytelling in the nineties. […]
