Paul Hogan returns as Mick “Crocodile” Dundee in final film in the comedy trilogy Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles. Directed by Simon Wincer, it has a hilarious cast including Linda Kozlowski (returning as Mick’s common law wife Sue), Alec Wilson, Jere Burns, Jonathan Banks, Aida Tuturro, Paul Rodriguez, Serge Cockburn (Mick’s son Mikey), and featuring music by Basil Paledouris.

After crocodiles become protected in the Australian outback, Mick Dundee becomes a croc wrestler for tourists along with new friendly rival Jacko. He is also raising his son, Mikey, to respect the land.

However, after a Los Angeles news bureau chief is found dead after covering an action film studio, the job is offered to Sue by her father who owns the newspaper. Mick agrees to go and they end up in LA, living at Sue’s family home. After a series of cultural mishaps, Mikey goes to school and Mick goes under cover in the film studio to find out if they are up to anything suspicious.

With the help of Jacko, Mick uncovers a plot that goes across the Atlantic to Europe that the film studio is organization in a terrifying way.

While not as good as the first, this third film was definitely better than the second film. It really showed Paul Hogan’s comedic timing, slapstick action, and the cultural misunderstandings in a hilarious manner. I enjoyed it a great deal and thought was laughing all the way through it. Of course, the critics hated, but we all know that usually means it’s a masterpiece.
