Resurrection Sunday 2016: I believe

the empty tomb easter

Some Christians call it Easter and others call it Resurrection Sunday. I personally call it Resurrection Sunday, but I honestly do not care that some folks made it to coincide with spring.

That being said, yes, I do believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, that He lived, He was crucified, dead, and buried. I believe that after three days, He rose again.

I believe He ascended into Heaven. I believe that He sent Holy Spirit to the Earth. Holy Spirit is alive, active, and that He gives us power. I believe that the Bible is God’s written word. It tells us what it is like without His love and that Jesus showed us what real love and sacrifice is.

I believe in Christians fellowshipping together, coming together to pray, worship, and learn about Jesus together.

Whether you agree with me or not, that is okay. I will worship Jesus no matter what, because I believe that He beat death, hell, and the grave. I love Him and He loves me.
