I made it past the 30,000 word mark! I’m only a few away from my goal of 50,000 words. 

For those of you who haven’t been following, I’m participating in National Novel Writing Month as we speak. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. It can be any genre you chose as long as it is something that can turned into an editable manuscript. 

It has been a challenge. Between work, life, blog writing, church, etc it has been difficult keeping up. I fell behind earlier in the week, but with the support of my super cute wife, I got back on track!

I wanted to tell my fellow authors, one resource that has been helping me is the Twitter page: @NaNoWriMo. It is a Twitter account named after our event and they offer some great stuff. They shoot out encouraging tweets and retweet from other writers giving advice, not to mention sharing links to some great and insightful articles. Be sure to find them and click follow!
