Comic books, Saturday morning cartoons, anime. video games are all up for grabs. Normally these characters would never crossover, but on this blog, they will meet and do battle. If you’re new, I calculate the advantages and disadvantages of each fighter, utilizing their skill, experience, and the equipment they have on their person. SEGA! Our first combatant is known other than video game character Knuckles The Echidna. He the friendly nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. His opponent, an old school staple of the 90s Saturday morning cartoon Street Sharks, Ripster, also known as John Bolton (of no relationship to the former UN Ambassador.)

Knuckles the Echidna, Guardian of Angel Island:

Advantages– Super strength, Intelligence, Glide, Borrow, and more. Ability to transform into “Hyper Knuckles” making him somewhat invulnerable when he collects the Seven Chaos Emeralds.

Disadvantages– Single minded and stubborn. Often prone to emotional outbursts.

Ripster, leader of the Street Sharks:

Advantages– Super strength, above average intelligence, extremely powerful jaws, sharp teeth

Disadvantages– Not battle experienced.

The Winner: Knuckles

While Ripster does have enhanced strength and has a powerful bite, Knuckles ability to glide gives him an edge on dodging these attacks. The Echidna also experience battling and finding weaknesses in his opponents. Though Ripster might be able to trick Knuckles, the guardian would figure it out soon enough and put an end to the fight.
