Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and illustrated by David Marquez, Fantastic Four Season One retells the origin of Marvel’s first family, but in a good way.

The story is told in an episodic nature that shows Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing about how they receive their powers. It harkens back to the Stan Lee days while showing their first meetings with Dr. Doom, Mole Man, and Namor the Sub-Mariner. 

I am not a huge FF fan, but I did enjoy this story very much. I am glad they avoided the dumb Ultimate Fantastic Four stories which have no basis in comic book history at all.
