Top 10 Movies I’d Rather Watch Than The CNN Presidential Debate (And It’s Not Even Close)

CNN, the news network known for getting sued for racial discrimination, is hosting tonight’s presidential debate with DNC anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash “moderating.” Attending will be geriatric incumbent President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, who lost his last go around. Of course, womanizer Robert Kennedy, Jr. has been banned because CNN is not biased or something.

If you are like me, you would almost love to do anything else like watch a movie. Politics is boring, so basically any film would do. Not to worry, I have you fine people covered.

Here are ten movies we would rather watch than view the Chicken Noodle News debate:

Super Mario Bros.

Before Chris Pratt and Jack Black were cast, this movie proved that video games were a viable box office option.

Howard The Duck

George Lucas produced this movie that some say set off the Marvel film craze.

The Last Airbender

One Trick Pony director M. Night Shyamalan tried to bring a beloved cartoon to life but mispronounced the main character’s name.

The Master Of Disguise

This “comedy” features SNL alumni Dana Carvey. You would think after his sketch show’s success, this movie would have done better.

Gigli

Ben Affleck stars with Jenny From The Block in this movie that a broke up a marriage.

Batman & Robin

It is hard to believe that this is not a Zack Snyder film considering its production values.

Battlefield: Earth

John Travolta brought a cult propaganda book to life with Dutch angles.

Plan 9 From Outer Space

Alien zombies come to stop Earthlings from developing a new power source, that they already have, because it could destroy the galaxy in this sci-fi epic from Ed Wood.

Jack And Jill

Al Pacino falls in love with Adam Sandler dressed in drag. How did this not resonate with the audience?

The Room

Tommy Wiseau is a genius. Fight me. The Room is the only one on this list that I would say watch even when you’re not trying to avoid a presidential debate. Alcohol mixed with this movie is a must.
